Workshop: Qigong and Western Bodymind Healing: Joining Hands
NQA Conference in Monterey, Workskhop on Friday, June 26,2009 9:30- 12 PM with Michael Mayer, $100
Waves of Qi are arriving from the East, transforming the shores of Western healthcare. You’ll learn what Qigong offers Western bodymind healing, and vice-versa, to create a more comprehensive healing practice. You’ll practice self-healing methods from the ten-system integrative method, Bodymind Healing Qigong, that Michael synthesized over 30 years of training with some of the most respected Qigong masters. Case illustrations from his work at an integrated medical clinic will illustrate how Qigong can join hands with Western bodymind healing to create an “Energy Psychology” for healing anxiety, chronic pain, hypertension, insomnia and trauma.
